Situated in the historical harbour and resort of Folkestone, the Southcliff Hotel is perfectly situated on the Leas, the town panoramic promenade. The property offers 75 comfortable en-suite rooms boasting either panoramic views of the English Channel and the lights of France (on a clear night) or the rolling green hills of the South Downs.

Whether you are visiting for a short relaxing break, use the hotel as your base to explore the idyllic Kent countryside or even as a starting point to visit France, we are able to tailor breaks to suit every customers needs.

Within The Southcliff, our fully equipped Ballroom can cater for 200-250 guests. The Ocean Ballroom boasts a large dance floor ideal for wedding receptions, birthday and Christmas parties, dinner dances, line dancing, horse racing dinners and themed nights, all personally customised for that special occasion. For smaller events and conferences the Channel suite with its versatile aspect can cater for every requirements.

Double RoomThe double rooms at The Southcliff are all en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities and colour television. Being a Victorian hotel most bedrooms feature high ceilings ideal for letting the sun flood through on sunny days.

Twin RoomOur spacious twin rooms are all en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a colour television. Built in the Victorian era, most rooms are spacious with high ceilings, giving an airy feel to the rooms.

Twin with BalconyOur twin rooms are all en-suite and come with bath or shower. These beautiful south facing twin rooms are equipped with a balcony and patio doors, to maximise the relaxing views of the Channel.

Double Sea ViewOur double rooms are all en-suite and come with bath or shower. These beautiful double rooms are south facing allowing the morning sun to soak into the room.
